I had to leave Dan's house before they had their security check or something, so didn't get to say goodbye as I think he was still asleep, so I used Travel Bugs Wi-Fi to search how to get back to Noble Close (where both Trish and Grant, and Katie lives). I think Bex and Alice were quite impressed I managed to get to Trish's without any help. We chilled out there for a bit, and then me and Alice headed back to Katie's as we were going to have a pretend Australia Day since me and Alice aren't going to be in Australia for the real one, and that was the first thing we really did when we first got here with Katie.
Whilst shopping for all the barbeque stuff, I kind of started off a chain reaction of buying heavily discounted Christmas stock- I had found Belgium chocolate Santa and Elf models for 90c, and then Kate picked up some $3 Lindt chocolates, which a woman spotted at the checkouts and so she got some too.
We had a nibble on the crisps when we got back to Katie's and then Millie organised us into a girl group. I was quite happy to be the singer, as I got to sing along to loads of 00's hits like N*Sync Bye Bye Bye and City High 'What Would You Do?', but then when Millie bossed us about into me being one of the dancers, apparently I needed to stay back for extra rehearsing.
I appreciated Katie's love for pork as the pork sausages she brought, instead of the usual Aussie beef ones, were so nice, as was sweet corn relish which I had never tried before but tastes like McDonalds sauce (Alice reckons now she has discovered that she won't get cravings for meat anymore because she can have that with veggie burgers).
