Today was a very manic day at work- at lunchtime we started off with only me, Dan, Mara, Sophie and Rachel. Mara is a bit rubbish and Sophie and Rachel are only new so it wasn't a very strong team and so we weren't prepared for 130 covers (customers)- we had to call Chats in to help and still could have done with an extra pair of hands. The kitchen also wasn't a very strong team- Chris who is new and very quiet, Aaron who tends to get a bit flustered and Fernando who just gets stressy. According to Fernando it was probably the 4th busiest lunch he's done! I didn't get out until 4 pm, and then had to collect my colour run pack and buy some washing up liquid and Chux cloths for the hostel.

After an equally busy evening, me and Alice went to Sammi and Indy's apartment, along with Fernando, Ashleigh (his girlfriend), Jay, Dane, some of Sammi's Sri Lankan friends and Alan, who was being extremely childish and entertaining because he had been drinking- he locked one of the Sri Lankans out on the balcony and shut the curtains on him, and wouldn't let him in for a good 10 minutes. Ashleigh got us all to do a big conga line.
