Shannon, a girl who works in the kitchen, came in today to talk to Alan because he had apparently fired her on the phone but he hadn't actually told her, and I think she was quite upset about it. She has kids and so obviously needs the financial support, and has taken days off because either her or her kids were ill.

Bella and Brenton were both feeling slightly under the weather today- apparently last night was the most drunk Bella has been in 3 years.

I decided to order an Aussie backyard salad for my free meal today- it's got feta, pumpkin, almonds and pepper in, and I also had it with some of the leftover 'pre-loved' (i.e. the beef that's been slow cooked for 18 hours) which was very, very tasty. I rewarded myself for going for the healthy option and had a waffle cone from McDonalds, although it was quite a small portion of ice-cream.
