I had been looking forward to getting cheap Tuesday $1 vanilla malt milk so that I could try it on the breakfast cereal I have at the moment, and Alice had told me that you could also get $2 magnums. I was happy that you could get the strawberry and white crumble flavour in this deal but then so sad to find out that this was maybe the last week that they were doing this deal (I'm not sure whether the night owl workers were talking about the milk or the magnums or both). I was considering living on a diet of magnums today just so I could take advantage of this deal!

I ended up just eating one and subsidised my diet with a trip to Corea Corea ( a Korean restaurant). I hadn't known beforehand what Korean food was, but it seems like it's mostly a spicy meat sauce topped onto a sizzling hot bowl of rice- the bowl cooks the rice on the bottom and makes it all crispy and crunchy. I went with Dane and he had a spicy pork one which was a tiny bit too spicy for me, and I had a seafood one which had nice seafood in (calamari, octopus, mussels and prawns) but the sauce was a bit bland, so although I'm glad I tried it, I don't think I'll be sad if I don't go again. They were served with really nice miso soup, and some spicy, pickled cabbage (that description doesn't do it justice as I didn't actually really quite like it).
