It was nice to have my last cleaning shift- no more getting sweaty!
I met Alice, and we went to the supermarket, getting sidetracked by the frozen yoghurt and toppings stall opposite. I managed to spend $9 today!
I had training at work at 4.30 (which wasn't really training, just a checklist of what I know and have been shown) and then carried on working until 9.30 because it got really busy tonight for some reason. There was a table who weren't too happy because they had booked a table and by the time they had got there, the prime rib steak had sold out (even though you're supposed to let customers know when they book a table late that this is a risk that could happen) and so they opted for the steak grill tower and the woman wanted hers medium well and the man wanted his medium, but you can only choose one way for it to be cooked. When I went back to tell them there was no mash she apologized for being snappy (although I don't think she needed to), so that what my first case of angry customer! Dane (I think his name is) put out some garlic prawns for us to eat as they weren't sold and they were absolutely delicious.
