I woke up early so that I could have a birthday Skype with Mum. She said she liked the card I'd drawn her, and then sent from Moonpig.com.

I had a text from Chats saying that we were having our inspection and so that we should make sure to wear longer trousers. Josh told me that the guy, Craig, said I was very 'attentive'. I got a Barra (i.e. barramundi) burger as my free burger today, but it wasn't very good as it had been waiting around under the hot plate for ages.

I went to meet Stacey and Alice at P.J. O'Brien's- the Irish pub. As expected on St. Paddy's day, it was very packed, but there was some entertaining outfits- the leprechauns with ginger beard must have been very hot and sweaty. I was wearing my deely boppers that had two hats on and so the bouncer asked me if I was from Tasmania because I must have two hats which I didn't understand, but apparently it's because Tasmanians have a reputation of being a bit inbred. I bumped into Garry, Eric and Mr T (Garry and Eric are Irish).

I was supposed to finish at 8 tonight, but after a very slow start, it got quite busy at the end so I ended up staying until 9.45, and so Chats said I could have a free mud cake for opening and closing at lunchtime and then staying on so late, although I didn't want to put it through until I was nearly finished, and then by that time the kitchen were closed- damn!
