Alice was disappointed when I rang her this morning, to find out which one of the 3 work t-shirts she had was mine/ was clean so I would be able to wear it, when she found out it wasn't me ringing to tell her I was at work and her camera arrived. When I got to work, Josh signed for her parcel, and wanted to put it in a bigger box and batter it up so we could look really apologetic as we handed it to Alice, but he didn't get one in time before I gave it to her. She enjoyed taking test shots whilst we were at the lagoon.

It was very busy tonight- I'm guessing because of kids east free promotion that we have on Monday's and Tuesday's combined with the school holidays (both for New South Walers and Queenslanders). A little girl started crying because I was getting her mum's change and she didn't realise I was coming back and wanted to say 'Thank You' to me.

Dave has been splashing out on the hostel- he's done up the kitchen and got new ovens… ovens that actually work! I'm excited to be able to bake, and I think people are pleased that we have more hobs that work (it was always a guessing game before as to which rings turned on). He's brought new tables, chairs and sofa chairs, and there's a little cosy corner in the main room now as well as the dinner tables.
