I rang Alice after I had finished my lunch shift, and it turned out she was next door in the pawn shop, looking at cameras as she had regained her 'I really need a camera' thoughts last night. She came in and was telling Allen this, which prompted him to take us to Harvey Normans, where I brought some headphones (I'm pretty sure one of the Germans had taken my old ones, but because they were iPhone ones, i.e. ones that a lot of people have so hard to prove their mine. It wasn't particularly reassuring when one of them, Christophe, said that he likes being in a hostel because no-one knows whose stuff is what so you can use that stuff). After Allen had taken pictures of the cameras he thought looked good and decided that Harvey Normans was too expensive, he drove us back to Hogs Breath were he got us each on a computer to search out the best deals. He was being quite bossy and trying to persuade Alice she wanted a camera with Wi-Fi, despite her not wanting to spend that much money. Eventually she decided on a Sony she wanted to try out, so we went to Cairns Central so she could take a few photos on it and see what the images were like. She liked it and so ordered it when we got back to the hostel.
