A girl from Kazakhstan had brought loads of sushi making stuff, and then left it here when she moved on, so me, Alice, Emilie W and Bella met up after Emilie had finished closing in Woollies to buy some avocado, cucumber, smoked salmon, prawns, crab stick and tuna to make our own. I was worried as the rice packet said to mix the rice vinegar with sugar, and the rice vinegar bottle didn't mention it so I thought I had made the rice too sweet, which was true when you ate it on its own but it tasted good when made into rolls. The salmon tasted a bit strange with the seaweed- I think it should have been raw salmon as opposed to smoked salmon. We made loads, but people that were hanging around at the hostel helped us polish everything off.
Whilst Alice and Emilie were working, I brought some goon, which we drank at our hostel, before heading to Woolshed, where we bumped into Dan (the bar man, just for you Dad!) and his friend.
