Tonight I went round to Rydges hotel for Alanna's hen night. It was very interesting to compare a buck's night (organised by a man) and a hen night (organised by a woman). The room tonight was amazing- on the floor with all the penthouse suites and luxury rooms. You walked in and there was a kitchen to your left with a massive living area, which lead onto a walk-in wardrobe, and the bedroom, which was attached to the bathroom (with a huge bathtub in) and lots of room for girls to get ready in. Very different from the standard Hotel Inn room we had for Josh's. Alanna's mum had driven her to Hogs Breath for a red herring clue to what was going to go on, but then took her to the hotel. She had made a few little snacky things, like some really nice little chicken bites and cobbler (a filled white crusty loaf of bread, usually filled with a cheesy filling, but this one was like an onion dip). We did a quiz on how well we knew Alanna and Josh and played bingo with words related to the wedding. We got a taxi to Tunnel night club, where Alice met us. Rhianne (Alanna's sister) had made a Scavenger hunt list which we wore around our necks with things you had to do on like 'Get a free drink from the barman', and 'get a coaster from a bar'.
