Whilst cleaning, I overheard an argument between a couple… it sounded like the guy was probably regretting drinking so much the night before- she was shouting at him about how much of a monster he had been to her, then he sidled up to me and said "I don't suppose you have seen a rucksack around have you? I stupidly left it out when I was drunk last night".

Me, Alice, Jake and Guy (night porter) had a little football game this afternoon; me and Jake against Alice and Guy. I quite enjoyed myself and quite fancy taking advantage of the volleyball pitch on the esplanade sometime, although this sporty attitude of mine will no doubt be short-lived! We even had an orange break at half-time (although it ended up being full time as we never ended up playing the second half).

Dave has finally got some soap (after about 3 weeks without), disinfectant, bleach, new toilet roll holders, toilet rolls (it was a very desperate situation this morning), and all the other stuff that we desperately needed and he ran away from me every time I tried to tell him we needed.
