Since it was the last morning I was working, I asked Allen if he would mind ringing the Byron Bay or Noosa Hogs Breath's to see if they needed any staff in the next month or so. He said that the Byron Bay one had closed down, and Noosa was for old people, so rang up the Surfer's Paradise one instead. Apparently they are upsizing to the floor above the current one, and so will need new staff which is good news. I had to email the Franchisee, who responded by saying I should phone the manager, who said I should email him with our start dates, so all looks very promising.

Me, Brent, Amanda and her friend who she met at her café went out to dinner at Hogs Breath later on in the day. Amanda was craving pasta so I asked Dane if he would be able to make nice pasta sauce that he cooks for the staff as opposed to the bland one we serve to customers. I had told him that we were on table 21, but because Amanda changed her mind and decided to have steak instead, he missed our docket because he was looking for one which had pasta on it, despite the fact I had told him so many times I was getting Aussie Lite Cute Medium Rare Fries and Caesar salad (I doubt that that's the most popular order) so he didn't make it any better than he would have done for customers (although I said he should make every customers order as good as each other's).
