I can't think of anything to write about Monday or Tuesday, as it was just a standard clean, work, come back work again day. Today I had the day off from both so went to Holloways beach and went fishing off the beach with Dane and his mum (It's nice to have someone to hang out with from the kitchen as the problem with hanging out with Emilie is that most of the time if I have a day off, she's working and vice versa). We used a cast net (which I was shown how to throw) to catch some bait (a few mullets, some herring but no prawns which are apparently the best bait). We also caught a crab, a few puffer fishes, and a flat head, but it escaped when Dane was washing it. We didn't manage to catch anything on any of the lines, despite both of them thinking that the tide coming in would be an advantage. Apparently male barramundi become female halfway through their lives!
