Bex and Katie picked us up from our hostel, and then we went to the alcohol shop and supermarket. Alice brought some banana bread and I brought some lamingtons- Australian cakes covered in chocolate and coconut. Millie (Katie's 5 year old daughter) showed us all the toys she wanted/ already had in the toy aisle.

She made me play trashies with her- a game that seems to change rules every time you play it- and start setting up a crystal growing fish scene, but I think the pieces may get lost before she gets to the crystal growing part. Sarah and Josh- Katie and Micks friends- turned up with their daughter Mia. The adults sat around drinking and eating nibbles, while the children played in their paddling pool. We ended up not having the BBQ! The banana bread and lamingtons were very nice though.
