Due to our decreasing hours (Josh always fazes staff out over their last 2 weeks) me and Alice actually both had a night off today. We went downstairs to make dinner at the same time, and found some creamed corn and cous cous on the shelves, and decided to collaborate. Alice contributed a courgette, onion, 3 bean mix, and falafel mix, but I was only able to provide a pepper. Alice enjoyed making a concoction of the 3 bean mix and creamed corn with various spices and sauces left in the kitchen, ready steady cook style. I made cous-cous with fried vegetables and the falafels whilst she went to get us some tahini. It was really pleasant as it was the first time we had made a proper meal since we started travelling (besides making pasta maybe once or twice). Vanessa and Gaelle (two French girls) always make feats type dinners, and it makes me very jealous, so it was nice to make one ourselves, despite the falafels having a really weird lavender taste.
