Bex picked us up to go to Trinity Beach, where Trish (Barry's mum) had told her there was a pub type place that did reasonably priced lunches, although it wasn't really reasonably priced to backpackers. We compromised by sharing a pizza and two portions of sweet potato fries which were served with guacamole, although it was slightly more like avocado flavoured mayonnaise. Luckily they were big portions of chips, although Alice was picking at the bowl in front of Bex so I ended up having pretty much a whole bowl to myself… it only kicked in how full I was feeling after.

Chats rang me to say she was ill and so asked me if I could cover for her. Josh was away at a wedding so it was Allen being the manager and I think he was pretty stressed out as it was quite busy. It turns out Chats has the shingles poor thing! We were supposed to help her dog sit for josh's dogs (not that this is particularly my thing, but she was worried about being in his house on her own so we were going to watch movies and eat pizza and just generally have a girly night in), but she didn't want us to catch it.
