Me and Alice got enjoy further the luxury of having nice food this morning, as Trish and grant cooked up a massive cooked breakfast for us- bacon, eggs, sausages, rissoles, and actually Alice didn't really get the luxury as she couldn't eat most of that and just had a yoghurt, although it was a very posh yoghurt.

Barry's brother, Jason, dropped us off back into the city, and told us an unnerving story about some Japanese girl who got murdered very near our hostel. He showed us the plaque that's opposite to commemorate her death.

Alice and Emilie (the Swede) wanted to go get sushi from Sushi paradise, but it's closed on Sunday's, so I met them after they had visited Cairns central food market, and we went to the Pier bar, after a quick stop off at work to check Alice's hours next week. The pier bar lookouts over the pier and you can watch everyone walking along the esplanade which was nice.

At work a newlywed couple and her family came in, and when the girl filled out her frequent diner application it was the first time she had written her new name with her husband's surname which was exciting. Her dad was a very generous tipper!

Bella had organised another night out for Emilie leaving, but has injured her knee so didn't come out with me, Dan, Alice and Emilie. For a change we predrank at Emilie's hostel, which was really fun- I met a guy whose surname was Barr and went to Manchester University so I was enjoying reminiscing about all the places to go out.
