Erin found quite a few people's alcohol in their rooms (including my box of wine) and so I was scared of being chucked out like Alice, but luckily apparently we're just going to get given a warning, because otherwise the hostel would have no staff. It's a bit stupid really as I don't know what they expect from a hostel. Management here are very weird- it seems like the stricter you are the more they want you, and it doesn't seem like they want to satisfy the guests needs, or even gain them the most profit- I was told by Paul I couldn't ask whether guests wanted white or brown bread (as long as its not busy I don't mind changing it) and he doesn't want Eddie to use the hostel bus when he comes to the bar to drink with his co-workers, despite the fact that it's not really the sort of place you'd make the effort to come out of town for.

I tried my first Hogs Breath meal- I had Lemon Myrtle Salmon with curly fries and salad.
