Me and Dane had tried to play tennis in the courts of his brothers apartment complex (very nice, and apparently where some of the Taipans live), but it kept raining so we didn't really get much played, and my legs were still hurting. Sammi- one of the Sri Lankan kitchen staff- was supposed to be cooking a few of us a curry, but then at about 7 text to say Chats had cooked for him and Indi and so could it be tomorrow. On my way to work there's a sign outside a restaurant advertising that they sell Moreton Bay Bugs, which I had assumed were some sort of bush tucker and subsequently wanted to try, although I discovered that their actually seafood and are a bit like crayfish, and I kept thinking I'd like to treat myself to a nice meal, so me and Dane went to have dinner at an Italian restaurant on the esplanade so that I could try the bugs. They came in a creamy sweet chilli sauce, accompanied by rice and were really nice. Dane had a bit of a non-eventful chicken, bocconcini and vegetable pizza. Dessert was an ice-cream from a place where they bash a chocolate bar of your choice into your ice-cream on a cold rock- I had banana and snickers and Dane had white chocolate with cherry ripe.
