I got irritated by the fact my imagination came up with the idea that Annie was looking up at me from her air bed on the floor this morning in a 'why have you woken me up at 6.15?' kind of way, although in a more rational state of mind, she was probably just looking sympathetic that I had such an early start.
For my free meal that I got for closing at lunch and working in the evening I chose an avocado and mushroom wrap with extra bacon, which was the tastiest Hogs Breath meal I've had so far. Afterwards, I went to tribal travel (a tour booking place) to have a look at things I could do on Tuesday (as I have a day completely off from hostel work and Hogs), but I got a bit bewildered and couldn't choose. I can't decide whether I want to go to the Great Barrier Reef again (given that it was about 10 years ago when I went before), or do something aboriginal-focused or a tour that goes round places like cape tribulation and the waterfalls. I picked up a few leaflets to have a look at, and then met Alice and Bex.
When I went back to work, I was given the table-resetting role- what fun! It meant I got to leave after 2 hours though which for once was good as I'm feeling a bit run down, and have low energy levels and a dry mouth that won't go away however much I drink.
