Had a very productive day- filling out my tax file number declaration form, my tax file return for England and along the way discovered that my date of birth had been provided wrongly to the people my superannuation (like a pension in Australia) fund is with, and so sent off a certified photocopy of my ID to get that sorted too. I also went to Coles again to get more breakfast stuff.

I walk past "Meldrum's Pies in Paradise' every day on my walk to work, and since they seem to have been given quite high appraisal from Lonely Planet/ awards, I decided to try one out. I chose a satay chicken one, which had a yummy filling but I didn't think the pastry was that exciting.

Some absolute idiot of a woman complained because her barramundi fillet had bones in, which was apparently 'really dangerous and a health and safety issue'. A family had hidden their menus behind the salt and pepper shakers, so I thought someone else had taken their orders, which was a bit annoying as it wasn't really my fault. It was the busiest it's been in a while, and I didn't finish closing until about 10.45!
