I'm starting to get itchy feet to do something other than just hang around at the hostel/ go to the lagoon, and so we've made plans to go to Kuranda- a village in the rainforest- on Saturday. The markets are famous, and there's a koala park where you can get a photo cuddling one, and somewhere nearby there's a waterfall. I'm so excited for this!

At work some bodybuilder type men managed to eat a starter, a mega cut steak and two deserts each! Apparently it was their 'cheat day' where they could eat anything they liked.

It was tipping it down when I finished the lunchtime shift, so had a browse in the Asian foods supermarket that I had read about in the lonely planet of Cairns (again trying to find something to do other than just hang around at the hostel/ go to the lagoon).

Alice has got an interview for Staffing solutions tomorrow, and a Skype induction on Thursday for a promotion job, as she's not getting paid very well in her waitressing job, and it sounds like the boss isn't very nice.

It was a busy night at Hogs Breath, considering it was a Tuesday, and Josh put me onto close, so I missed out on the trivia night and free pizza at the Woolshed. I did get a Pure Blonde beer though and a passion fruit cocktail/mocktail (not sure whether Masaki put alcohol in it or not).
