The common areas were such a state this morning that all I did was clean the kitchen and change the bins- I was washing up for an hour and a half, which is a lot given that it's the guests who are supposed to do it anyway! Jonathon had another weird aggressive moment where he was having a rant about the breakfast, and then was implying I was an idiot for what works out at around $10 an hour, and how Dave employs people to do easy jobs that they can't do (he specifically mentioned Adam because we had ran out of spread, but I wasn't sure whether he was including me in this).

I made another batch of my risotto, with the extra inclusion of some of the leftover chicken I had got from work. I primarily wanted to make it for Jake, as he has been the one most generous with his food, but then he gave us some cheesecake so I didn't really cancel out the debt.

I had booked the evening of work because I wanted to check out an event being held at the skate park. It was a hip-hop youth thing, and I had got it in my head it was an MC battle, and although it was teenagers I thought it would still be a different thing to do than just sitting in the hostel watching a film. However when me and Bex walked down, there were so many people (and people we didn't really fit in with) that we couldn't really see the dancing they were doing, so we only stayed for 10 minutes or so. We swung by into Woolworths to get some discount milkshake and bread. My fruit salad fruit was horrible and didn't taste anything like fruit salad (maybe it wasn't ripe enough?)
