Had a really early start today as I had been asked to judge the Korean department end of term sentence bee and performance of Love Actually. For the sentence bee, a sentence was put up on the projector in Korean and the students had to translate it into English. I was asked to say if it was correct or not, but as I couldn't read the Korean I had absolutely no idea!! Then the intermediate students had made a film of scenes from the film Love Actually. We watched the real one, then watched their interpretation, then they had to act out some of the scenes on stage and I gave them marks for memorisation, performance and pronunciation. I'm not sure why I did this as the marks were then totally disregarded for the awarding of the prizes!! Went to Woman Love for lunch then watched a film whilst we were waiting for Miss Cao who taking us to Honglou temple. We went about 3 and had a walk around. It wasn't as magnificent as I expected but it was nice to wander around and the views around the area were lovely. This evening we went to 9. Disco to show Andrew the Huairou nightlife and ended up in KTV and then food street with Sophie and her friends.
