For the first time, I've had to wear a jumper to work - hope this is not the end of summer!! The good news today was that after 5 days pf struggling suddenly everyone wanted to help me get a train ticket today! Charlie has offered to take me to the train station tomorrow, Mrs Wu was phoning around travel agents (although I don't think she was really on track with my budget as she came back with a 5* luxury trip!) and Cecilia told me her brother works for the rail company and can get me tickets!! Anyway, I have taken Charlie up on his offer since he was the first to offer - although I will keep the others in reserve! Went to the lake to eat lunch - it was a lovely clear day and we could see right across it. One of the teachers told me this afternoon that the students will be trained by the army next week. It doesn't affect me, but it means the students and the form teachers will lose their half term break - seems a bit unfair, and really short notice!!
