Went into school this morning and was amused as I walked past the newly opened KFC to hear them playing Mika's 'Big Girls you are beautiful' - I'm sure that would be a no, no in England!!! Meet Hannah at lunchtime when we went to Jack Hut for a drink and then unsucessfully in search of a kettle we could buy - I have decided that I can't survive the winter without being able to have a hot drink at home. Spent the afternoon in the office catching up on emails - it's nice and quiet on a Tuesday afternoon as all the Chinese English teachers go to Beijing for some course so I am able to get some peace and quite during my 3 free periods. I got post this afternoon including a nice woolly scarf from my Gran which will help me keep warm - it's funny how none comes through for ages and then it all arrives on the same day. This evening we had dinner in 'Woman Love' and then went up to our newly found entertainment area, Da Shi Jie. We had some tea in the bar and they brought us some nuts and fruit to snack on. Then we tried out some basketball and driving games in the arcade - didn't quite have the courage to try the dance mat yet!!
