Spent the morning researching formal testing for English as one of my students had sent me a letter asking for some advice about the requirements to get into an English University. It was interesting to see what was required and I managed to find some on line tests so I had a go at the listening one. I was horrified at the end to find I had only got 7 out of 10!! It wasn't that it was really difficult it was just that the questions were really ambiguous! Lessons went okay and at lunchtime we made the most of the weather and sat outside in t-shirts for lunch. This evening we tried a new place for dinner - somewhere we had seen our students eating a lot - where we got vegetable noodles and a beer for 60p each!
