Back to school and I don't know what it is about my Monday classes - they are far worse than on any other day. Maybe it is just because it is my busiest day and therefore I get a bit less tolerant or maybe they are just difficult classes! Had to sort out the situation with the electricity bill today - the school thought we should be paying for it, but when they read the contract again they realised that actually they need to reimburse us. Hannah and I have decided we would like to run an English Corner one day a week - this is where students can come along and practise speaking English. We think it would be good as we have some really good students in some of our classes but because the overall level is much lower we can't help them as much - by having English Corner we get the students who want to learn and they can talk with other students of the same level. Anyway, we put the idea to the school today and we are waiting to see if they are happy for us to try it. Spent the evening designing a poster in anticipation...
