Got stopped by the Mrs Liang on the way into work saying that the boys loved their English lesson on Friday night and could we extend it to 2 hours - not sure if the boys really loved it or just if the parents like the fact they are learning more English! Anyway, we can't really go out on a Friday night because of our early start on a Saturday so I thought we may as well do it and said yes. My lesson this week is on English schools which seems to be going down well - they get particuarly excited when I say we started lessons at 9:00 and finished at 3:40 - I think they wonder how we ever learnt anything given their school day is 7:00 - 8:00! Went to the post office this afternoon and managed to post a letter which I think is something of an achievement! It'll be interesting to see how long it takes going that way, although I did write the Chinese characters for 'England' on it so hopefully it will get to the right place without too much of a problem - provided they can read my handwritting!
