Had a reasonable day although 2 very chatty classes. Had to confiscate one girls knitting after she had been told 3 times to put it away. Even after I had taken it she stole it back and I had to go and collect it again and carry it around with me!! This evening I think I shocked Mrs Wu by telling her about life in England. Somehow the conversation came around to the fact that people in England sometimes have children without being married. Apparantly this is a big no, no here and she was suprised to hear that the government do not punish people who do this. Then she asked if the neighbours would talk about it!! It really is like China is about 30 years behind in their thinking.
