Got up early to do the tour of the Mini Three Gorges. We had to transfer to a smaller boat (which was still relatively large) travel for an hour and then move into much smaller boats for the final half and hour in order to see the 3 smaller gorges merge into one. It was a nice trip although looked much like the past 24 hours! Came back on board for lunchtime and set sail for our final destination of Yichang. Arrived here at 6:00 in the evening and got a bus to the 3 Gorges Dam (the largest dam in the world). This was one of the main reasons for doing the cruise and it was very disappointing to find we only got to see it at night. Also, the entire tour was in Chinese and so we got absolutely no information about it. Once finished we had to get a bus to Wuhan where we were staying the night - finally arrived here at 1:00.
