Back to school and I found out that once again the Grade 2 students have lost their free period this week as they have 'Emergency Escape Practise'! Not quite sure what that is, but it means that once again they will not be able to come to English Corner - I don't know why I am even bothering!! Had my picture taken this afternoon for the class 3 intranet site - I didn't even know they had one so I shall have to get someone to show me it. This evening we decided to be brave and try a new restaurant. We had had one suggested to us, but when we got there it didn't really look open so we headed off to the food street area and ended up in a hotpot restaurant. It was great - we somehow managed to order a kind of vegetarian hotpot. It was a spicy broth which you had sitting on a hob in the middle of the table so that it kept boiling, and then you had various vegetables which you put in to cook and then ate with a peanut satay and corriander.
