Day 142: 22/5/13
I knew yesterday I was going back to the same school again so I could sleep in an extra half hour or so.
It was release again that I was doing but mostly 1/2's this time. The first class I was with for two hours. We did Maths. They played a good game for practicing tables first, called Salute. One person gives two others that they don't look at. They put it up to their foreheads and the person that gave them the cards tells them what the answers would be if they added them. They have to guess their own card by looking at the one the other person is holding up. Then they had to draw what they do at different times of the day. After that they had literacy groups. I wa reading with a group, but there were a few children that didn't settle at all so literacy groups were noisy!
After break I had another 1/2 class who again were doing reading groups. I was with the reading group and everyone else knew what they were doing! Afterwards the next 1/2 class I had were doing the same thing as the class in the morning- drawing pictures of hat they do at different times of the day.
For the last hour I was with a 3/4 class- one of the ones I had yesterday. They had CRE so there was no need for me to even be there. Then they made a card for grandparents day. All in all a pretty stress-less day!
I took my time going home and had some food on the way and stopped Ito a coffee shop with good wifi. I was watching Ellen videos on YouTube- they always make me laugh!
I was on the computer then for a while just sorting out some stuff and watching the end of the DVD that I started yesterday. The end was better than the start, but it was still fairly crap!
I didn't get any call or text about work tomorrow. I don't know if the school I was in have another day. I don't think there's many planning meetings going on tomorrow so I'm guessing I won't be going there. So I'll have to be up early incase I need to get an early train!
