Day 84: 25/3/13
Back to the office again this morning for more 'motivation' and training. We were just with Chloe going through things for most of the morning. There's only Malou, Aj and I on her team! We did have to run around for a few minutes and do another wheelbarrow race but I was carrying the other persons legs so it was grand!
The van was super quiet today. Doug was with us aswell but still its a small group. If there any newbies this week we'll probably get them. This is the last week also of selling for energy Australia. After that we have to go to a different office and everything so it will be all different! Apparently the pay is different too and there's more per sale so I'll have to think about going on commission only.
I had two fairly long streets today so I didn't have to do much rewalking- just up and down the streets. Lot of people had had someone from energy Australia or other companies only the other day so they had no time for it at all. Some of the people that did get their bills were on really good deals so it was hard to try and show how much they would save as it wasn't much at all!
I did sell to one woman. She went through all the rates in detail and was happy that it was cheaper. She wouldn't change for the gas though so it was just electricity only. Still, better than nothing!
Chloe got 4 today and Malou got 3. Aj had been sick so Chloe brought her to the doctor thinking she was lying but apparently she was sick! So she went home. We'll have to wait and see if she comes back!! Chloe gets in trouble any time anyone leaves so I'd say she's having a rough time this weather.
It was late when we were picked up as Chloe had been doing a sale late in the evening. So by the time I got home it was quarter to 9. I had to go looking up hostels then. Laura and Jamie knew of a few that were supposed to be good but they are really dear- 34 a night for the cheapest dorm. So it would end up at 238 a week! I can't really afford that and a lot of them were booked out for Easter or had put up the prices for Easter. I compared them for ages but picked the cheapest in the night. The hostel itself is fairly good but its cheap because its a 16 bed dorm. I booked it anyway from Wed for the rest of this week and all of next week. If I get on alright I can book for longer, if not I can book a better one then when they aren't booked out for Easter. Well just have to wait and see! Even though I was tired then I couldn't sleep for a while as I had prices and money going round my head. The hostels are as dear as any accommodation really but just no bills or bond to pay. Anyway, well see how the next two weeks go.
