Day 92: 2/4/13
We didn't have to be in until 10:30 today and I can get to the office really quickly now so it's grand! We were supposed to be going to a new office but the message we got told us to go to the old office again.
We were told we'd be training today. But they obviously had a change of mind and didn't bother telling is. Our job was to clear out the vans and get rid of all the contracts, welcome packs, etc. We had to go through all the walk sheets then and complete the ones that were only half done- we had to make up id numbers and dates which seemed completely pointless to me!
By 1 we were finished I'd say so they brought us for a beer and that was it for the day! It was a complete waste of time! I wouldn't mind at all except that the training is taking place tomorrow, we don't get paid for either day and we're down another day of sales! Ill have to make an awful lot of sales this week and next week! I'd say between public holidays and this new contract I've picked the worse 5 weeks to be in the job as regards making money!! Just my luck!!
I dossed around for a while then today and then went back to the hostel and was organising some clothes into a locker. I realised then that a lot of my washing was in Laura's house so I went over to her to collect the rest of my stuff.
I stayed for tea and a chat. They were just about recovered after the long weekend! I went back then and stuffed the rest of my stuff in a locker!!
There's two German girls in the room that are pretty nice and they're going to be around for a month or so. They'll be around to talk to in the evenings anyway! It's more sociable in the room than downstairs!! That's a good thing about having a room full of 16 people and no wifi in the room!!
