Day 76: 17/3/13
Happy Paddys day!!!
I was delighted with the sleep in this morning! I had time then to have a lazy breakfast and catch up on the blogs.
We went to the Quiet Man pub then in Flemington for the day. We had to queue up when we got there but not for long. We were lucky we weren't any later or we mightn't have gotten in at all. Laura's friend Nuala was there too and some of her friends and the place was full of Irish people. They gave out free hats so it was just a sea of leprechaun hats. We didn't go into the pub at all as there was another queue for that. They had a bar outside and music and dancing and stuff as well. There were some good singers. They weren't singing Irish music but they were singing a lot of the sings that would be in Irish pubs. There were dancers aswell that came on at various intervals. They were good enough but I've seen better heavy dancers! We just spent the day chatting, admiring people's costumes and drinking really. There was a nice atmosphere because people weren't too drunk yet and it wasn't too packed.
We went home around 7 an watched some tv for a while. I can't believe I have to get up again for work tomorrow!! Only having one day off is not good, although the week flew last week. Hopefully all five weeks will fly and I'll make some money too!
I was too lazy when I came home this evening to look up accommodation. I really need to find a place soon as I have already been two weeks here- it's not fair on Laura and Jamie to spend much longer. This weeks plan is to find somewhere to live!!
