I went to find Caulfield North post office, where I successfully managed to collect my pedometer. I'm quite pleased with the website I ordered it from, as they included some extra bits and pieces like a strap to attach it to, a bag to put it in and a guide on how to use it, with space to record how many steps you have done. I then caught the bus to Chapel Street so that I could buy some groceries, and a big tub of Bournvita from Prahran Convenience store, as a leaving present to the kitchen at Chapel Street. I also brought 'Chyawanprash'- an Indian spread which you can also mix with milk, made from Amla fruit, and various spices, but I don't really like it that much, so hopefully Patel and Birrin like it.
I used the internet at Prahran library, and then went to work (and gave them the Bournvita, since it was so big and I had so much stuff with me that I didn't want to cart it home and then cart it back on Sunday, which is my last day). It also means I get more opportunity to have some of it!
When I got back I realised, I didn't have my smaller handbag I put in my bigger handbag and use as a purse with me- I hope I left it at work or the library! There was a new housemate lying on our living room floor, which was quite funny, so I joined him and talked for a bit. His name is Alex and is from London. He got here with a couple of other people, including Laura, my new French roommate (given the room is for 2 people, this means that it's a Laura room, and I keep getting confused when I see her box of clothes with 'Laura' written on it as I keep thinking their mine!).
