After working at Hooked, I walked up Chapel Street to Sienna to pick up my wages (for some reason it hadn't been given to me earlier on in the week) and on the way I noticed a Belgium Chocolate shop that I hadn't seen before. I walked in, but it hadn't officially been opened yet. The lady told me there was a reception starting at 7pm tonight, so I text Alice and Amanda to see if they wanted to go, but they were in the CBD shopping, and then were going to have dinner at T.G.I Friday's. I decided to go anyway, by myself, and I'm very glad I did- I got to sample a lot of different chocolates including one with speculoos biscuits, orange gianduja, chocolate brownie, dark chocolate covered ginger, dark chocolate covered orange peel, popcorn, and fruit and nut disk, and whilst chatting to an old lady called Ursula about the travelling she did when she was younger, I nibbled on cheese and crackers, pesto, breadsticks, baguette sandwiches, fruit tarts and quaffed champagne and coffee. I think Alice and Amanda regretted not coming when I told them! I brought a speculoos chocolate for Amanda and a chocolate brownie chocolate for Alice.
After I returned home, we all went to meet Ed, Danny, Jo and Luke in a pub in St Kilda, where some quite drunk middle aged ladies were embarrassing themselves by dancing to a band playing.
