One of the dresses I brought in Thailand has ripped, so I thought I'd try and save it by turning it into a skirt, so I sewed that whilst sunbathing. It looked like it had the potential to be nice, but when I tried it on, it needed more loops to thread the waist belt through, to ruffle it in a nicer way. Having already spent an hour or so on it, I gave up there so I don't know whether I'll continue or just give up the project, but at least I felt a bit more productive whilst still working on my tan.
