I did a double at Hooked and it was very busy, possibly due to the fact everyone's got the day off tomorrow. I kept making the system think I was giving refunds so when I cashed up I was out that money, but I corrected it by putting the order through again. Then there was a customer I actually needed to give a refund to because I had accidently put through too many boxes for two, but made the system think I was refunding her the money she actually needed to pay- it was very confusing!

I think all this work has made me go a bit delirious- I was helping out in the kitchen putting things through the dishwasher and so I got the image of me being in a sketch show where I'm two people- one who is gleeful about putting through more glasses to give to the front of house person, and then the front of house person being annoyed at getting more glasses to polish (I know this isn't very funny, but that's why I feel I've gone a bit crazy).

I was very full after my salt and pepper calamari, rice and Asian greens so all I could do in my break after I got the things I need from Coles was to sit down in Prahran Central and recover. For some stupid reason I got sucked into giving a Hare Krishna type guy $2 for giving me a book I won't read.

There was a lot to do in the evening after we'd closed, but Birren wanted to go so I hope the other people aren't too annoyed I haven't been pulling my weight. I got to take home some school prawns as we only got them in for a deal we have on Monday's, and no-one really took advantage of the offer.
