Well have only been on my own since 6am but have not heard the balus [plane] go yet and have already got a broken lock on the fly screen!!! At least the main door lock is OK just a bit annoying. Hadn't intended to go to the airport but as we suspected the luggage would be very over weight we decided I'd go with a cheque and cash just in case as kina is of no use to Ken. It weighted 28 kilos possibly helped by the side of the bag sitting on the ledge!!

last night Ken knocked the bedside lamp off and it broke! The good thing is that I have logged on twice without having to go through the Lodge server! Will have to go and tell them being an honest person. Strength is better though!!

Took pictures yesterday when we were out and about but theyare on our system which ken has taken [I have a VSO laptop] so I have cheated with this picture although looking at it it does look as if ken was wearing the same clothes yesterday!!

So many people came round yesterday that today I'm staying in. I'm being overwhelmed with people looking after me!!! Also two ladies want my plants and so I told them to cpme today together [they don't know each other] and agree who has what.

Today I intend cleaning the house through, tidying up the garden as everything has shot up with the recent rain and then I'll sort out the freezer as I keep shuffing stuff in!!! Exciting eh? Can't face the Chapel today too much so soon after Ken has gone. Not that I've heard the plane yet and he gave his mobile back to VSO so willhave to wait until he gets to Moresby and in the hotel. As he hasn't had breakfast no doubt he'll get some first! Except he has gone from here by Business Class so maybe will get more than the usual biscuit and juice.
