Morning from this lovely sunny place!!! Shame that we're missing the snow but glad not to be cold!! After various meetings and emails with London they will not agree to let Ken stay as he is seen to be an insurance risk. We had hoped that they would let him stay as a non volunteer but no. We know that if our first Doctor had written the final report it would have been different but he was on holiday until 4 January and we didn't feel we should wait to see him as it was costing VSO money on the apartment etc.

So Ken will go when they send him a ticket, hopefully not before 25 January so that we have some time to sell the car and the boat as I don't want to hassle. I shall stay to finish off some work with the teachers. Have had some very positive responses recently for more workshops this coming term so I want to get them set up so that they are working together without a volunteer organising them.

This means that I will leave here at the end of Term 1 which is mid April or if Ken is still OK maybe June which is the end of the funding for the project.
