Amazing what can happen in a week! Last Monday we came back to the office and met with Karen the Country Director. By Thursday we heard that VSO London wouldn't agree to her proposal. Thursday afternoon and young lady bumped into Ken when he was out walking and asked to see the car! She offered the price that we wanted before even getting in it! She took it for a drive and the next day took Ken's bank details and the money was in the account the next day!!

On Sunday we took the boat out On our way to pick up the boat we saw Clara and Lucy from Chapel so we took them in the boat to their Island!!! We asked if they would like to come out with us and they were thrilled as they had only ever been to their island and Madang!! Mind you Lucy on the right was a bit scared!! She's from the Highlands!

Next day the baot was sold and since then we have sold all the major items which I wanted to do before Ken laft so I didn't have the hassle when on my own.

Started this BLOG on 11 January and it disappeared but just now has popped back in so have no idea what I was going to write about so I will waffle on!

The downside of all this has been the slowness of the money to be reimbursed coming in. Again the insurance company have sent one amount and failed to send the second!! More emails to chase.

Ken's blood pressure etc is now at the level; that the Cardiologist wanted and he has been out walking every day and eating sensibly, well we have had a few, "last time for lunch" sessions!!
