Welcome to Rowhedge, our small village. Not in New Zealand though! BLOG doesn't seem to recognise England in their list!! The last leg! Feel I ought not to have the BLOG without finishing off some of the final days in NZ!! From Hanmer Springs only just over a week ago, we drove to Picton and the ferry in the daylight so saw some good views BUT the weather was pretty dull and showery AND my camera started making very strange noises so couldn't take many photos. Just a quick update since I last BLOGGED. Won't let me change location but we are in Singapore for two days. Had an amazing time in NZ and got upgraded to Business Class so we travelled in one of those seats that face both ways! And then become a bed! Travelling with us was a star from Home and Away [so Ken tells me!] So later on I will sort out the last pictures and put on the BLOG. Seems very strange to be nearly home and still apprehensive strangely enough! ...

After our wonderful flight we set off further west to Tizel. Odd little town but we found a lovely restaurant for lunch and then returned for dinner!! Waking the next morning we had a frost covered car but it soon cleared. Our drive to Hanmer Springs took longer than we planned but Ken spotted a Lodge sign offering lunch and it was a beautiful spot only marred by the owner/chef who talked too much!!On arrival in Hanmer Springs we found many of the Motels [usual...
