Last week the Rotary Club here in Madang were emptying a container of desks and chairs for local schools. here is Ken and Laura stacking them on to the back of a truck! Laura was here last year as a VSO volunteer and is now back home studying in Perth. Her Tok Pisin is amazing! She came back during her two months Uni break to help where she can.

We have managed to get 20 double desks with attached seats for Good Shepherd School. Trouble is no one is answering the phone so they haven't been collected yet! There are boxes of books stacked in a warehouse here ready to give out as well.

Our next challenge is to see if we can get books collected in the UK that are more useful than the set of old books on the history of California!!! Only 100 of them!
