Granon to Espinal del Camino

We left early from Ave la Paso albergue they had breakfast out the evening before for 3 E.
We’re off by 7:20am and made Belorado 15.7km before lunch. Mainly because we could not find a cafe open when we wanted one.
We played many games today to help pass the time as there is only so much lush Spanish beauty you can focus on. Back in pig and grain production and now we have left Rioja and are in the Castille and Leon region. One game was thinking of songs with “city” in the lyrics and also “home”. Another was getting trucks to toot their horn for us.
We went alongside the main road between Logroño and Burgos for much of the way. The trucks were endless. Carting everything livestock, beer etc. no trailers just trucks.
We ended up going 1.5 kms further than planned because the albergue in Todantos was full. The manager was very kind and gave us water and chocolate to help us along. Also made a reservation at Pepe’s albergue go past the first this is the right one. Not so sure rather grubby. I am on the sofa bed. He kicked a pilgrim off “is for signora “ Ah well a bed for the night.
We walk two more days and then have two nights in Burgos. I look forward to that rest and healing. We have a lot of fun Jean is as bad at making stuff up about people we see as I am. All good here in Spain hope all well with you readers.
