Triacastela to Sarria 18.2 km 355 up 585down
Overcast all day. Misty in the morning but very pretty walking through the mossy roadsides and trees growing over making beautiful green tunnels.
There was some mud and water on the track but no rain. Lots of small villages with cattle stored in doors under the houses in some cases. Cow pats on the roads through the villages.
My knees were sore in the latter stages today. The down hill takes a toll. Had dinner with Anita and Arnaut and Donna and Neil. Anita is such fun.
We had everything washed today and was to be dried by 7:15 but still no washing. Will be here in an hour problems with the drier. We have no clothes I wore shorts and wind breaker to dinner. C’est la vie.
