Day 43 Wednesday 6th
San Xulian to Boente
19 km 340 up 500 down. Light rain most of today.
A great day but I do think my body is getting to the end of its resources. Used to be I would recover over night and be ready to go in the morning. Then I had to take some anti inflammatories first thing in the morning now I take pills in the morning and painkillers at night and I am still sore on the morning.
There is a lot happening at home and I am really looking forward to getting home. I will leave Lou and Tawna after about ten kms tomorrow and go on another ten kms and then two more days and I will be finished. It seems right to do the last few days totally on my own. I will still meet up with these guys as they come in to Santiago and spend a night with them.
