¡Hola! Day 38- 16k, delightful green hilly country with beef cattle (limousin I think) in the stone walled fields. And no rain - cloudy cool, perfect walking weather. Started off The day At the dreaded organico albergue with a tiny little muesli and yoghurt breakfast - left hungry then had to walk about 8k to a café and get some bacon and eggs - hooray I'm a carnivore! They tasted fantastic. The walk was all downhill so I was pumping - "Eye of The Tiger" has become The music of the Camino. By The time I had played it through a couple of times I was practically jogging and throwing a few air punches!! Next thing I see Sal going by in a taxi looking súper relaxed! Seeing lots of peregrinos we know now and found a New Spanish mate - Miguel de Madrid. Good guy - he worked in "security" - whatever that means. We walked together for about an hour and all in Spanish - he thought my Sp was OK which was trué enough until I had to understand his rápido fire responses!! Then I was lost- again!! Anyway I think the body is liking all this walking - finally!! Hooray! That said we are both getting bone tired - will need more than 1 night's sleep to get rid of that. Maybe this 3rd part of The Camino being "about The soul" is at least partially About no longer being in pain!! Hasta mañana!
