¡Hola! Day 36 -18k pretty much all uphill but all good. Spent the early part solo, next bit with Joel, a 34 yr old agronomist from Brazil (no wife/kids yet cos far too young), then the pm with Sal and a couple of gringos de Colorado. Didn't think about much on the track today but when the going gets tough I seem to be playing "Eye of the Tiger" - theme from 1st Rocky movie. Yesterday I was walking along way out no where and getting hot, tired so on came the Rocky theme and next thing I was pumping up this hill feeling good, came over the top, punching the air and suddenly there was a guy under a tree with a huge grin on his face , watching me and listening to the music - he knew exactly what was going on. We were all feeling a lot better in spite of the sun and the tiredness!!
O'Cebreiro is a "Celtic" village - very old church, they say the people here haven't quite let go of pagan beliefs - so it will be interesting to see what that means. Weather starting to pack up so we'll probably be walking in the wet mañana. Another peregrino misa esta noche. Hasta pronto!!
